When you are a vulnerable child, the system reminds you of that every day. Those children get to watch other children have the best parties and gifts.
Although the crisis in family homelessness continues to grow, the personalized birthday celebrations that the Birthday party provides gives innocent children who are facing challenging circumstances a moment of normalcy despite their circumstances and shelter settings.
Each birthday is designed specifically with each child in mind. Being able to wish for a birthday that speaks to their interests, wish for their favorite cake, and wish for a specific gift are all elements that TBP provides to children with the goal of addressing those emotional needs that help raise their self-image.
Your donation not only celebrates a child’s birthday but will have a lasting impact throughout their life.
